A very good place in a really cool location. Everybody visiting the STL area should take a trip up here. About 12 taps, all are regional or local micros including Founders, Avery, Lagunitas, DFH, Bells (had hopslam there last time i was there). Food is fantastic and the prices are very good. One of the coolest bars that is off the radar/beaten path i have ever been to. Same owners that run The Stable in St Louis.

For a small town along the river, this little hole-in-the-wall is a pleasant surprise for the beer lover. They have an ever-changing selection of micro brews on tap. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The food is Cajun-inspired, and quite good. Place is dark and quaint inside, a good atmosphere for exploring their selection!

How have I not reviewed the Rotten Apple before? I have probably been there at least 6 times. This is a cool place for beer lovers. They always have great stuff on tap and often have a few things not listed but that either they or customers bring in. It is such a cool place! They have beer tastings once a year or so, too. The menu is always very good and tends toward Cajun dishes and significant spice. In the winter months the draft selection tends to slow down but Jerad likes to keep them moving during the warmer ones when more customers get there. They also have some bottles on hand. The staff are usually ber people and know what they are pouring. If you love good beer and you find your self in Grafton then this is a MIUST stop. Then visit the Piasa Winery (almost across the road on the river side) and check out their bottle offerings. Then across the side street is the Grafton Winery and Brewhaus (which I have not yet visited). So within a hundred yards you can walk to 3
