72 I put the selection at 8/15 because although they only have 6-8 beers available, if you taste them you will certainly find one or two to love. It is about as small an operation as it gets, very limited hours, go in, taste whats new, and get some growlers filled. They have had some very good beers, I always have trouble choosing between the excellent Sinister stout and something new. 3-2-1 Biere, Smoked Mild and Oktoberfest have been some other favorites. |
70 Tiny little one room tasting area with taps, a counter, some decent swag, shirts, coozies, etc.....a table with some literature....free copies of brewing news...Girl serving was very nice and chatty, and attentive.
Samples offered freely, however, they are dispensed in a 2oz plastic medicine cup....ugh.
Overall, some nice beers, the decor could use some freshening. and livening up.
Worth the trip for a t-shirt and some sampling. |
74 In the back of a building - small tasting room/growler fill area. The only employee there at the time of my visit was very nice and helpful. Beers are fair to good - some of their lighter beers have some issues with chlorophenols. A welcome site for southern Indiana - about a 15 minute drive off I-65. |
