This is the nicest place that I’ve found to have a drink in the Northshore area. A very comfortable, classy environment that allows for understandable conversation. The service is sometimes slow with drink refills, if you’re sitting at a table, simply because they’re very busy serving food as well. The selection is great for the Northshore, with many highly rated Belgians, Germans, and locals on tap. The food is remarkable, especially the chicken nachos, which are enough for four very hungry people. Overall, I really enjoy this place and recommend it, though don’t expect it to be a bar environment. It’s very much a nice restaurant with a heckuva bar. Update (12/13/07): This bar has slipped somewhat in my consistency of going there. Unless you sit at the bar, you’re not going to get good service. Wait staff can be rude, though the bartenders are fine. Miserably loud on weekend.
