Given that MSP has such a strong set of beer options, this place sort of gets lost in the shuffle. There’s 8-10 taps and a few bottles. Summit features prominently. It also looks like there’s a pretty strong whiskey selection. Overall, this isn’t a bad spot to kill time, but there’s better places nearby.

An airport bar and restaurant with $2 small pours of seven Summit beers. Worth stopping for a flight between flights.

There are two Ike’s one is a bit bigger and that’s the one I ate at. Service was standard dinder service, decent selection of beer on tap including some surly seasonals.

A nice little restaurant with a decent tap bittle combination. Large bar with an English pub feel. Service was good but not beer oriented. A few Surly on tap plus on or two other locals and a number of others in bottles. Food was solid but beer and food at standard airport prices. Not bad but not the best MSP option. (see City Tavern)

Restaurant/Bar in MSP. Once you are inside, it’s more like a freestanding restaurant, doesn’t have the typical airport restaurant feel. The service was OK. Beer selection was not spectular, but was adequate and featured some nice local brews - Surly Furious was the highlight for me. Food was very good. You could do a lot worse at an airport bar.

Visited August 18, 2013 on the way out of town after RBSG.

This was my second stop on the tour of MSP food court, right after Axel’s. I have to say that this is considerably better than Axel’s in terms of beer selection. I didnt eat anything so I can’t comment on that. They had several Surly taps on as well as one or two other MPLS locals. Not an amazing selection but you could do worse than to have to drink a Furious while waiting for a flight. The place was kind of busy while I was there, which I thought was odd considering it was a Sunday afternoon, but hopefully that means that the kegs rotate. Not sure when I’ll be at this airport again but I may stop in for the food next time.

A nice stop off in the MSP "mall" with what looks like awesome food, though I had already eaten upon arriving. The beer selection was MN locals mostly. Service was good and prompt.

There are two of these places, one at gate F7, and the one I’m rating on the airport "mall." Upscale steak and fish restaurant with tasty small plates and sandwiches. One Surly tap and one can when I was there. Macros dominated the taps, plus a small amount of Belgian bottles. Pricey food. Well above average for an airport bar, would be awesome if they had more Surly choices. So, this time thru MSP I tried the Ike’s at gate F7, and it pales in comparison to the one on the mall. Food choices are fewer, beers are limited to Summit and Bud lite, and the single barman looked completely overwhelmed. So if you have a choice, stick to the main food mall.

The best food and beer menu in the airport. Not quite as nice as the original, but still a good menu and you can find something good to drink. Food is expensive, beer is more reasonable, for the airport. If you have a long layover, this is the place to go.

An ok place to stop for a couple while in transit. In Aug 11, they had two nice Summit beers, Surley Bender, and a Schell seasonal as beers of interest, $7 for a 14 oz pint. Food was heavy on meat, fried stuff. No small snacks on the menu. Not special compared to stuff on the outside, but decent for an airport bar.
