Strebs  (232) St. Louis, Missouri | July 14, 2013| Updated May 24, 2014
Tripel is a beautiful new addition to the Lafayette Sq. neighborhood in south STL. It’s on Park Ave between 33 and Square One, across a parking lot/pocket park from Sqwires, and around the corner from two other great restaurants, Eleven Eleven and Vin de Set. Tripel is an emulation of a belle époque Belgian brasserie, specializing in moules, choucroute, bone marrow, escargot, and traditional Belgian dishes. They are even looking into sourcing eels. The beer menu includes a limited selection of traditional Belgian styles and brands, and a couple of American versions. Hopefully, they will expand their selection to more of the traditional Belgian beers, plus a lot more of the updated American versions.
