Visited on a Monday evening. The place was quiet at first but soon filled up with a bunch of locals. This place is a time capsule from the 1990s. Somewhat worn but homey. Large list of taps with generally so-so offerings. Well priced however. Service was good, but the quality of the food was definitely the best part of my visit.

This is a nicer location than their downtown Reno place - basically a big old house with creaky floors. Nice roof deck with a view of the mountains, although it was too windy when we visited. Servers was generous with the samples. Worthwhile stop.

This place was a highlight of the trip, but not necessarily for the right reasons. First off, upon entering the parking lot there was a truck parked right near the entrance that was taking up several parking spaces. Nice job, dickhead. (Pics are pics: http://i.imgur.com/xNXCGmj.jpg)

It’s sort of a tall, skinny building with multiple tiers of seating including a rooftop patio which is where we ended up sitting. It seemed to be pretty casual up there but the indoor levels seemed to be more formal? Weird.

They had a dozen beers on tap. I ended up just ordering all of them. The flight was ridiculously cheap. Like $12.50 for all 12. Solid deal. Beers were not all that great, but mostly serviceable for your typical local brewpub. The service was quite fast and friendly.

The crowd here cracked me up. At one table next to us were a bunch of housewives who were having cocktails with their one single friend who was regaling them with tales of her latest dating exploits. All of them were pounding sweet white wine and getting quite loud. Behind us was a table of some burnt out hippies including one guy wearing what I can only describe as a mix between a wet suit and a full body leather motorcycle outfit. But he didn’t have a helmet, so I don’t think that’s what it was for. Turns out this character was the one responsible for the shitty parking job down in the parking lot.

Anyway, this place is decent enough, but go the two blocks to Brasserie Saint James instead.

A decent size brewpub with a decent amount of inside seating and a rooftop area that looked pretty sweet for the summer time. A decent selection of good brew. Friendly staff. Enjoyed.

The Wonder St location is still my favorite. I like sitting on the roof when weather allows, or in the bar area when forced inside. They go back and forth with Great Basin in the quality and quantity department, but both places are good. There always seems to be a couple interesting seasonals, but the regulars are solid. VERY good food, reasonably priced. Service is solid.

A typical brewery/restaurant atmosphere, which I enjoy. A large selection of well crafted beers on draft. A large menu with good food. After traveling for many hours it was great to sit down and have some good food and good beer. I will stop by every time I am traveling through Reno.

Kind of a seedy casino sort of place with card machines built into the bar leaving little space for a beer and no space for a meal. The service was average but the beer and food were below average. Not worth a visit.

I visited this place on the evening of July 3rd. It was pretty dead and slow, which makes sense given the weekend. Neverthless, this place looks huge with a large outside patio with breathtaking views of the mountains. Inside, the bar faces the brewery where the brewer was busy at work. I was warmly greeted by Jovi, who was fucking awesome. Really friendly, knowedgeable, and personable bartender. She also told me about Ol Bridge Tavern, which was a massive score. They had about 8-10 beers on tap, and there were only 3 that seemed real interesting to me. I had the turkey burger, which was really tasty and served with a side of really tasty fresh fruit. A couple of drawbacks...parking is difficult, and the fucking annoying slot machines on the bartop.

Perhaps Reno’s finest brewpub overall. Great food selection with pizza made from the spent grains. The master brewer is always creating something new and rotates some fine seasonals. The standards brewed would stand up to many of the national craft brewers as well.
