Saturday night in late May 2015 with a decent crowd going. Still plenty of seating and space, lots of outdoor seating which we skipped due to half of the people outside smoking. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, and quick to find out answers that she may not have known. Had good food recommendations and was accommodating to my desire to run through their entire beer menu in flights. Food was good, and came out quickly. Two burgers, an extra side, a pint, and 3 flights came to about $42, so can’t really go wrong here on a value metric. Flights are $6 for 4 beers, with a $1 upcharge for two of the higher ABV offerings. Didn’t have any flawed or bad beers, but had some that I didn’t care much for, and were essentially regular brewpub offerings. But they were clean and done well, just regular easy drinking stuff for the most part. Nice atmosphere and very friendly service.

Natty Greene’s in Raleigh is a very large place. There’s a huge main bar, a pool room at the back with darts and a shuffleboard and the brewery is by the main entrance. They had a large range of beers on offer - all their own, and no flights, but tasters were $1.50 and pints were $2. I don’t know if this was a special offer to draw people in after the snowstorm the previous day but it certainly kept us happy for a few hours. (Visited 13 February 2014).

A fun pub in Raleigh. Has a sports bar feel - a couple TVs over the bar and the main pub area. Also they have a really long shuffleboard, pool table, and dart boards in a separate room. The beers were pretty good - they had about 8 house taps and 1 guest tap from Wicked Weed. The IPA and bitter were good, the brown ale was ok. The food menu is mostly sandwiches - my smokin turkey wrap was pretty good. Overall it seems like a fun stop in Raleigh, pretty good beers, worth a visit.

Visited on a Saturday over lunch. Pretty large building with 2 bars, some pool/shuffle boards, and outdoor seating. Atmosphere is exposed brick, oldish building, with lots of wood. 12 beers on tap when I visited, $1.50 for 4 oz samplers. Most beers that I tried were pretty solid. Food was a little better than your average brewpub, the house potato chips with ranch dip were pretty tasty. Overall, a cool place, that I would definitely stop back at if I visit Raleigh again.

I quite enjoyed this brewpub. Came on a Thursday when they had $2 drafts on. They don’t do flights, per se, but they’ll do tasters at $1.5 each. Lots of wood everywhere, free wifi, a nice bit of outside seating, and a few TVs for you to aimlessly pass your time. They also have a few games (darts, pool, shuffleboard) in their game room. Really cool laid-back feel to it. I’d happily come back.

This may not be a completely fair rating as the majority of the building was under construction. The only thing open was a square dining room. I understand there is normally a bar and game room. I only stayed for a beer. I thought the selection was as solid as the Greensboro location. Prices were good as well. I got great service. The atmosphere was quite stark due to all the construction, though so I was ready to explore other venues. I’m sure when they’re done improving this will be a more enjoyable stop.

Large brewpub, had about 12 of their beers on tap, 6 new ones for me. No flights and the samples were a little pricey. Beers were not so great as expected. They are trying at least.

I haven’t eaten dinner here but I’ve had a brew or two at the bar before. Nice bar, lots of wood and good display on everything else. Very broad and open. Everything well priced and good options on the pours. Brews weren’t too great though.

Located in a BIG brick building, the interior has a similar vibe to the Greensboro location... dark woods and brick... but it seems a bit more open based on the layout. The word "sprawling" came to mind. 12 beers on tap. I tried 5 today which ranged from average to good. Chicken fingers were above average and came with a nice dipping sauce. There is a large parking deck behind the store that is free with the exception of after 4PM Thurs-Sat. Bartender was very friendly. Prices are solid. No sampler per se, but they do offer 6 ounce tasters at $1.50 each and the bartender gave me a smaller taste of a couple more so I could save my sobriety. Overall a nice stop, and it’s always nice to find a place with multiple low gravity beers on tap.

Pretty big place with 12 house beers on draft and some barrel aged beers in bottles that I didn’t try. I was there in the afternoon, so it was pretty dead, but the bartender said it got pretty hoppin on weekend nights. Samples are $1.50 each and you can order as many or as few as you want. The bartender was friendly and chatty, but again, there weren’t many people in the bar. Great place that’s just a quick walk from Flying Saucer. Definitely worth stopping in.
