A 15 minute walk from the train station. Visited on a Thursday after work. A museum part, a bar, a resaurant downstairs and a meeting room upstairs. Six Waldemar beers on tap. Busy place even quite early in the afternoon. Ordered a sampler tray which is quite good value. Varied beer quality, but their IPA was good. I also had their catfish. The food was slow, but they let me know about their busy kitchen early on after I placed the order and kept me informed. Pretty good food, but the busy mode was noticable in slghtly undercooked potatoes. All in all a nice place.

Nice brewpub in walking distance from the cetran station (if you don’t mind walking in the rain). Relaxed atmosphere and nice interior, but very slow service at the time of my visit. Not the most exiting collection of beers but decent enough. Worth a visit, but not the most interesting beer place in Bergen. Visisted (2013-04-25)

Besøkt kun én gang, men det var skuffende. Betjeningen var ikke særlig skolert i produktene de skulle selge, og ehller uinteresserte selv om vi fikk smaksprøver. I tillegg har det gang på gang vist seg at Waldemar er uinteressante øl uten særpreg.Vil allikevel prøve stedet på nytt.

A nice brewpub with a restaurant in fantastic surroundings of the old Hansa brewery. They brew six decent beers at the pub. The food is also of good quality with a range of different dishes. If you don’t fancy the Waldemar-range the beer menu of about 20-30 beers would allways save you with many different beer styles. Too bad it’s only open at Thursdays.

It was a nice brewpub until they closed it of and reserved it for closed parties only. Only their own locally brewed ales on tap and a moderate selection of beers on bottles. They served their own beers in very small tasters. Did not sample the food.

Wonderful restaurant/brewpub with 6 locally brewed beers. What is pity, that they are not open to the public in the evening, you can drink beer only when they have closed parties. In that case you as a individual person are served by bar. Unfortunately they will not serve you food. But anyway, this is very good place with excellent beers.

Nice restaurant/brewpub with 6 beers brewed on the premises, also nice bottle selection of Norwegian micros. Food and service was excellent, their christmas beer as well, the other 5 was rather dull. Hansa brewery museum in the same building, free entrance from the brewpub.

A very friendly place, where they appreciate customers interested in beers. I was even gieven a free sample of a beer that the bartender thought was past its prime. Their own brews are not outstanding, but quite decent, and if you are in Bergen, it’s worth the detour. It’s not far from the bus and rail station.
