40 This grocery store used to be one of the best places to find beer from 4,7% and below in Oslo.
At the moment (september 19) one of the worst
Something has really gone totaly wrong here
Loads of pale lagers....not much else |
64 Located in the basement of the Oslo City shopping centre. Quite a decent selection of Norwegian, and Scandinavian, indies.. plenty of brand new breweries for me, including quite a few from the US, New Zealand and other European countries. I also recommend getting a warm Lapp Schokolade from the entrance as well, almost like a cross between a crepe and American pancake for NOK13. Tasty stuff. |
62 It’s a grocery store so don’t expect much beer knowledge among the staff, but someone has to have some it seems, because the beer selection, especially for Norwegian micros, are among the best in Norway. At least for grocery stores. All the usual suspects and then some. And some more. Quite a few foreigners too. If you’re visiting Oslo by train or by air, this is probably the grocery store you want to visit to get the beers below 4.8% ABV. |
66 Great selection! Almost "all" Norwegian micro breweries are represented. I picked some from Ego, Færder and Rena. The only problem is that this store can be rather packed in the weekend. The the long queue to the cash register can be a problem if you have to pee... (Vistited December 5th 2014) |
70 Impressive botte selection inside a big supermarket, contains almost all Norwegian micros which is widely distributed in Norway. Located close to the railwaystation, a 5 min easy walk. Good selection of British beers as well. Recommendable. |
60 Great selection for a supermarket with Kinn, Nogne, Haandbryggeriet, Aegir plus a bunch of UK stuff, some Goose Island too. Prices are ok due to the low ABVs. A good stop near the station. |
62 General grocery store next to the central station of Oslo. Surprisingly big selection of beers. Obvious Norwegian macro’s, but as well some nice micro’s. Furthermore a large selection of American, Britisch and Swedish brews. Very nice. Decent prices. |
68 The selection here has improved a lot, a fine range of both Norwegian craft brews and imports. Nice to have access to Coldboy, Inderøy etc. Very centrally located. |
60 It’s located very close to the Central Station in Oslo. You can, in fact, walk directly from the station to the store in the basement of a large shopping center. The grocery store is small, and it is rather cramped for space between the shelves. However, in the beer section near the entrance who will find a very good range of foreign, and especially, Norwegian bottled beers below 4.75 % abv., some of them hard to find any other places. Beers from De Molen, Amager, Toccalmatto, among others in the foreign section. Some of them are very expensive even by Norwegian standards. Vinmonopolet Oslo City is located nearby (visited, 10.12.2012). |
60 The best <4,7 abv beer selection in the city centre. Has all the norwegian micros (Kinn, Lervig too) including seasonals, also Det lille bryggeriet, berentsen and other unusual stuff. OK foreign selection with some micros there as well from demolen and jolly. |
