78 Great and very cool cafe in the old town with ok selection of different beers if you go further inside to the other bar. Outdoor seating, really liked this place. |
56 Great ambiance. Old wooden building by the river and live music when I visited. The problem is that their beer selection doesn’t impress beer geeks in 2017. Maybe some years ago, but not today. The name "Antikvariatet" (Antiquarian) is really suitable when it comes to beer selection nowadays. But, all people are not beer geeks and the pub was crowded this warm summer evening. 74 Cozy place in a central location. Pleasant more café looking close to the street (hardly any interesting beer there) and more noisy and interesting beerwise in the inner room. Crowded and lively on a Friday night, but still a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. |
66 Located close to the old bridge, fifty meters or so from Den Gode Nabo, it’s a place you should stop by if in the area. There’s more interesting selections other places, but they sure have nice beers here as well. It looks like you’ve entered an old bookstore as the walls are covered with books, but there’s also two bars where you can get you thirst slaked. Wasn’t impressed with the service, but we visited on a busy Saturday night, so we didn’t expect much either. |
66 Nice interior with two bars the first didn’t have any fancy beers. The inner one only had a few and they were well hidden on the wall to the right (AEIGER). Bottle selection was fair. There were some live music (not the best) so I had the bar for myself;). Staf = great. |
76 A place very much to my liking, lots of books and interesting craft beers in a cozy atmosphere. Really true to its name! About 70 bottles to choose from, mostly from Norwegian breweries, many from the Trøndelag region. On my visit there were eight on tap; from Ægir (2), Hornbeer, De Molen and Austmann (4). Friendly and knowledgeable service. Two rooms, be sure to walk further inside towards the riverside for the best part of the place (Visited with Ellen 18.03.2015). |
62 A charmy place, like a small maze, very lively on a friday night when visited, with live music as well. 3 different beers from Austmann on tap at my visit. Easy to combine a visit here with Den Gode Nabo around the corner. |
76 Visited on a Wednesday in June 2014. I liked the interior of this place, it reminded of a library. The location is excellent, just a minute or two from Den Gode Nabo, close to everything. The selection was good as was the service. Norwegian prices are always "interesting". A place to visit if visiting Trondheim. |
82 What a lovely place!
Nice ambience. Ecellent selection from Haandbryggeriet and Austmann.
Lovely area by the river. |
78 Hippie place in the middle of the touristy area of Bakklandet. 2 bars, with the one at the very end beeing the one with the best beer. Full range from Nøgne Ø and Inderøy Gårdsbryggeri. Also some from Kinn(3), Haandbryggeriet(5), Ægir(1-3), Chimay(3) etc. Good prices. Not very good on glassware. This is a good option if you wish to snack on some local foods and have some good beers early in the evening, before walking across the street to the better, but WAY to expensive beerpub, Naboen.
Edit: Now also lots of beers from Haandbryggeriet.
Edit2: Getting better!
Update 8/2013: Now with 2 taps from Mikkeller etc. |
