UJ’s is located between 5-10 miles off the 71 Interstate. It’s in the back corner of the Johnny Apple Seed Shopping Mall (strip mall). Your usual liquor offerings with a few high end goodies as well in the Cognac arena. While the wine selection is not extensive, you can always fine solid offerings that are way better than you will fine at the grocery store. As for beer, this place does all right for a town that failed to support a micro brewery (through 3 different owners). They have a very nice selection of brews available in the mid west including 3F’s, Great Lakes, Bell’s, Founders, etc. They also do a good job on more popular craft brews from around the country (Stone, Avery, DFH, Victory, etc). They still have Peche Mortel as I’m writing this. A fair selection of Belgians are also up for grabs. Moderately knowledgeable staff that will help if you ask. May not be worth the drive in if you are heading through Cleveland or Columbus, but well worth your trip if you are staying any where near Mansfield. I go every time I’m there.

UNFORTUNATLEY FOR ALL, UJ’S WILL CLOSE FOR EVER ON THE 21ST OF DECEMBER 2006.
