56 The place sits way back in the Renaissance faire grounds, it’s a little walk from the parking lot to get down there. The bar area is a converted porch that is covered and heated and was comfortable even on a cold evening, there is also an interior dining room.
I was there on a Friday evening and it was empty, so the wait staff was not busy but attended to us quickly. I did not order any food, they beers are all ok, mostly brewed to style.
I was not very impressed but I would go back, it would be a great place for a quiet dinner, it is not a noisy pub or bar atmosphere. |
50 I’ll give it another try if I ever go back. This first visit was terrible. Most of the beers were not available and the service was quite rude |
82 The brewpub is inside the renaissance faire grounds with plenty of places around the different festivities to fill up. You can get beer in a plastic cup or pay for a ceramic mug, das boot or a pint glass. 22oz bottles are available at the entrance buildings which was cool. Your at the faire so the ambiance is awesome nothing like walking around with a big turkey leg and a beer watching a joust, live music, human chess match, etc. while being called me lord. It’s like 5-6 bucks a pint so its about average and the beers (they had 5 different kinds on tap) are average and do the job. All an all you can’t go wrong in my humble opinion. |
76 Had 6 beers on, on the grounds of the faire, it is a small but good looking patio type space. Didn’t eat here, but the beers are all top notch stuff. |
64 At the PA Rennaisance Fair. This place is in a pastoral setting. The service was prompt, but they only have 4 beers. What they do have is very good. Worth visiting if you attend the Fair. The pizza up the hill was delicious, and the Old Peg Leg Stout was world class. |
