72 Nice setting with patio looking over a horse jumping fence and the restaurant is attached to a horse stable. Beers were good, though not as outstanding as I was hoping. Service was not bad, but lady didn’t speak much English, though had good humor. Food was average tasting, but HUGE portions. Biggest I’ve seen in Germany. I would highly recommend the Peppersauce Shnitsel with a baked potato. My non-beer geek friends loved this place as well. A bit tricky to find, but worth the stop on a nice evening. |
80 A very nice yet small brewery and tap. I think some of the best beers in the stae are from here. Great food and service. |
80 For all purposes the Brewery and the tap are just across the street from each other so I will call them the same place. It is a bit hard to find and at the northern edge of town. The pub was open while I was there and they have simple homemade food. Service was nice as well. There beers are some of the best in the entire area. Prices are very cheap. |
82 A nice jewel and some of the best beers in the state. SImple but good food and very good service. |
70 Small little restaurant on the edge of the village and part of a horse arena. Only about a dozen tables but very cozy. Good selection of Flammkuchens, schnitzel, and rumpsteaks - nothing spectacular but nice home-cooked food. All the beers I had were nice. A nice little place. |
