74 Came here for a networking event (they seem to host Green Drinks fairly often- networking for the Sustainably-minded). So, no music, but the feel was low key and hip.
Decent tap list very heavy on the locals. Sampled some of their appetizers and they were all good. Service was speedy.
Happened to hit it at happy hour, so prices were pretty good ($3 drafts 3p-7p).
I would go back. |
76 Cool little concert venue/bar/restaurant with a very eclectic crowd that matches the beer selection. Lots of different styles from lots of breweries. A good local selection alongside things you won’t find anywhere else in town. Not a place to hang out and drink when there’s a band performing (I’ve been one of those bands and would hate to be trying to relax and drink with me playing) but otherwise a great little watering hole. Food is fresh and service is friendly. |
84 This was enjoyed on a Friday night while Virginia was celebrating Beer Month. The food is excellent. I had two local beers that took me over 800 beers. The music was provided by a local group. When we walked in all turned to see if were were regulars. It a place to enjoy beer and music. |
72 Cool dark hole in the wall type place. Loud music when a concert is going on, but off nights and happy hour are good times to actually go here an drink a good beer. Pretty solid craft selection, but nothing rare or overly exciting. Not really the type of place you’d go and try to rate beers, but it is a concert venue that you could actually drink good beer at. |
