58 Please note this is now closed: the brewery has moved to Wellington. Sparten and basic, open plan single area bar. It is really just a small space within the brewery building that is open to the public. Little racks of bottled beers and a table of brewery badged stuff for sale along with a few chairs and a bar. Usually two hand-pulls of Ironbridge beers available with a cask cider too.
Can get very cold in the winter months but it is cheap to drink in here: I take guests when ever I can. Dave the brewer or his wife are normally behind the bar, so you can have a chat about the beers while sampling them.
The actual brewery is right behind the bar frontage with stairs to the side: you are virtually drinking in the brewery I suppose.
Toilets are rustic but clean. |
66 Saw this brewery serves beers, when waiting for the bus back to Birmingham. A bustrip with an hour voluntarily postponed, to take a look inside. Very spartan place in a wharehouse, you see the brewery behind the bar, beer thats prepared to ship are visible.I saw 6 taps with 2 of their ales, 1 tap with Wrexham lager and one cider. |
