A nice hipster college bar that has a nice space for live music. Service was solid if not great. They had a nice selection of local taps that was above average for the area. I did not try the food on my visit. Prices were on the cheap end overall. A solid spot.

Very cool bar for craft beer and live music; awesome ambiance and a really solid tap list. Prices fluctuate, some beers are quite expensive, but a lot of good options and overall a great stop.

Visited Fall 2014. Somehow this was my first time here, for an early dinner. Build-your-own beer flights offered at reasonable prices. My fish and chips was very good. Not a lot of service; you order your food and drinks at the bar, but they were friendly enough. One of the better beer bar tap selections available, and reasonable prices Atmosphere of a dive bar..

Visited August 15, 2013.

Walked over here with kbutler and CLevar after the meet and greet for RBSG. There wasn’t anything overly noteworthy about the place, just a quiet bar with a fair amount of taps and some stuff on the walls. The place was fairly empty actually. We must have gotten there just before the band because others who went a half hour later said it was busy and there was a band playing loudly. All I know is that I got a beer called Lucid Silo (a saison) and tried a sip of CLevar’s Surly Cynic with nectarine wood (or something like that). Over all the beer selection was pretty good. Service was friendly enough but I didn’t really interact with the bartender much. Didn’t eat either.

For me, this place has the *it* factor. They had many cool and one-off things on tap I hadn’t seen on our beer travels of Minneapolis. It feels a bit more "coasty" than other places in the city. If a helicopter picked this place up and dropped it in Portland or San Fran, they would thrive.

Finally stopped in here after years of living in MSP. Cool place with lots of draft choices. I never make it down this way because I always seem to end up at Town Hall but this is a good beer spot and shouldn’t be overlooked. Didn’t try any food but will be back.

Bar in the West Bank area. 28 taps, 37 bottled beers, two ciders. Beers range from local to regional to national to imports. 70-some seats and 10 places at the bar. 4-oz. flights available: local brews on draft are six for $8; national beers are six for $10; imports are six for $15. Sometimes good specials. We had six generous samplers of Great Lakes beers for $6. Typical pub grub on the menu. Good, friendly atmosphere. Kind of a loud college-alternative sort of place. Highly recommended.

Quite a small place on the weekend with a little stage for live music. They had quite a large tap list and I was able to try the Delirium, which was $10. They also had ST Creme Brulee on tap, I would like to come back to try a few other beers.

Stopped here 5/9/12 for dinner. It seemed like a slow night but sitting at the bar I had great service. The atmosphere was dark and comfortable for a pub, it probably get crowded in a good way on the weekends. The tap selection is constantly changing from week to week but I’m told they try to focus on having many local beers and minimum two Surly taps. Most of the beers were mid range drinkers, nothing too rare or extreme. The Fish and Chips were good and the fresh cut fries were delicious.
