Nürnberger Altstadthof

A 5 beer Flight with clean and interesting beers. Schwarzbier and Rotbier were top notch. The helles/pils was a diacetyl bomb in their cafe but cleaner here. Excellent food. Great sausages and friendly service.

Cozy "old style" brew pub. Brewing on premises and has a selection of house made whiskies. Tried "Rot Bier". Was a solid Marzen/Vienna style. Close to several other solid beer places in town

Quick visit while on city tour. Recommended by local guide for the red beer. Nice setting in old town city center. Very busy. Enjoyed the red beer, wish I had time for more.

Very good red beer, something new for me. A lot of local stronger alcohol. Service is very helpful.

We were seated in the backyard biergarten, interior seemed quite big. Solid selection of average to good beers. Interesting selection of local whisky, however the one I've tried wasn't that good. Friendly service. Worth checking out if you're visiting the town.

Uriges Brauhaus in der Nürnberger Altstadt. 4 Biere vom Fass. Bei mir leider kein Special. Leckeres Fränkisches Essen. Es gibt men 4er Flight mit Schnaps. Besuch lohnt.

Brewpub in the centre of the city. Classic German beerstyles, that are just ok, nothing special. They have a great selection of homemade beer-liquors and whiskeys.
