Went here with my Sister (of all people) while family health issues at the IU Methodist Hospital. The cafe is basically near the IUPUI campus and as dogbrick stated... is stuck between two medical learning buildings. The place itself looks pretty cool with big old doors, a nice overview of the canal and overall slightly hip vibe. The food was very good upscale pub offerings and the beer selection now also includes some locals on tap (Flat12, Sun King, Upland) as well as a nice selection of bottes. Nothing rare but enough to satisfy most beer geeks. 5 beers (4 tap) and food ran us $32, worth it. Must try if in the IUPUI neighborhood.

(Visited 06/2010): Visited Creation Cafe 3 times in 2 days recently, but just once for beer (the other 2 being a morning coffee and lunch). The cafe shares a building with Euphoria on 11th Ave called Buggs’ Temple and is nestled in a canal area surrounded by a bunch of hospital buildings. Metered parking is available out front. The multi-floor building is very pretty and apparently one of the oldest church buildings in the area and gained notoriety as a place to hear the best gospel concerts. Creation Cafe has a welcoming interior of comfortable couches, chandeliers, book cases and artwork. They also have a patio overlooking the canal. Creation Cafe’s beer menu is all bottled and numbers around 30. There is a decent local/regional representation with brewers like Three Floyds, Upland, Brugge, Bell’s and Founders. Stone was listed as well, with the rest being your basic imports and macros. Service was consistently good on my visits. Not a whole lot of beer knowledge but honestly that doesn’t appear to be the focus here which is fine. Everyone was friendly and efficient. The food I had here was good. My burger with house chips was tasty and cooked perfectly. Overall this is a nice low-key spot to visit in a nice old building with a good atmosphere and scenery from the patio.
