Interspar - Bregenz

A large selection of Austrian beers plus a number from other countries. Well worth stopping by as I was just passing though Austria for a few hours. Parking was in the garage downstairs.

This is the largest InterSpar I have ever seen in my entire life. All the local beers are here, plus a few from Czech Republic, Spain, etc. Broader range of 4 and 6 packs, but also plenty of singles. Easy to buy an entire meal or snack of fresh cheeses and meats. Helpful hint: the 49 cent beer doesn’t taste very good. A good stop while passing through Austria.

Interspar is a large supermarket in the outskirts of Bregenz. They have about 100 beers on offer, many of the standard beers and some rare ones from smaller Austrian breweries (e.G. Frastanzer, Fohrenburger, Mohren). They also have standard international beers, e.g. Guinnes, Pilsner Urquell, Budvar etc. Good selection of Austrian beers, worth a visit.
