Walked through their balcony area. Wasn’t impressed.

Looked through window - no taps or fridge visible. Looked at menu - little more than "beer (500ml): X eur" visible. Looked into their back courtyard, nothing more than Cesu and Aldaris kegs visible. Not a beer place. Town-square prices to boot. Go to Brevinga instead.

Nice old looking place. The food was good. Only seemed to have one beer on tap. Good place to eat, not much beer choice at all. Watch out for the 10% service charge they slap on as a tourist trap.

This is a restaurant and you come here to eat. The beer is incidental but interesting. Immediately off Livu Square, inside a courtyard and down into the cellar, which is a stylish cave. The owner likes beer enough to stock a small range of Latvian specials in bottle including a few infused with ginger, cinnamon and so on.
