Come here if you like irish pubs. Go somewhere else when you want a decent selection of decent beers.

Paddy’s is certainly an atmospheric place. But it is definitely not a craft beer destination. They had two tap hadles for Sacred Valley Brewing Co beers, although only one was active. The rest of the offerings were a half dozen different Quesquena beers in bottles and maybe 10 macros in bottles and cans. Worth a stop.

Went here a few times way back when I lived in San Blas in Cusco. Cool atmosphere mashing up an Irish Pub into a traditional colonial peruvian building right on the plaza. Beer selection was lame but for Peru much more varied than you normally fine. A good place for a drink, some food and people watching of the plaze...

Was here 2/2013. If you are in town and you want to drink, you have to come here. Its not a great selection by any means, but great little irish beer joint. Had some great conversations with expats and the owner and drank here quite a few times. Bathroom is an adventure! Recommended for all travelers!

Didn’t actually have a drink here but stopped by today to check it out. The place exudes ambiance; really old creaky dark wood interior with a ton of character. Selection-wise you’re not going to get much in Cusco, Peru, let’s face it, especially on tap. Three forgettable taps and a smattering of non-inspiring bottles. But, again, for ambiance and to find some folks for whom English is their primary language, you can find a beer you’ll enjoy and have fun doing it.

Paddy’s Pub in Cusco is right on Plaza de Armas on the second floor above the street just like Cross Keys and Norton Rat’s Tavern. Paddy’s has the best happy hour of the three with certain drinks being 5 soles (less than $2) from 7pm to 9pm and then again from 10pm to 10.30pm. The MO for a good night in Cusco is start at Paddy’s from 7-9 and then head over to Norton’s. Paddy’s also is pretty hopping for food as well as beer. Whereas food takes forever at Norton’s it seems, Paddy’s has an extensive menu with loads of Irish items like Shepherd’s Pie. All comes out in big portions and quickly. The pizza here was fantastic and tastes probably 100x better since pizza isn’t really a Peruvian staple so you’ve probably been craving it. Beer selection here is decent, it has the same tap list as the other two expat type bars: Old Abbot Ale, Greene King IPA. But Paddy’s prides itself on having nitro tallboys of Guinness. This is probably the only place in Peru you are going to find Guinness. So...in short- not a craft beer bar per se but Cross Keys was already in the database here and Paddy’s has probably the same selection of beer but is a crazy riot at night and very fun place to meet people. C for beer selection. A for food and A+ for ambiance. If you are looking for Belgian beers, head over to Norton’s less than a block away.
