Cant really call this a beer store... yes, its a great wine & cheese shop, there are maybe 20 beers here though in one small cooler, nothing too exciting. A couple Tyranena, Capital, Two Brothers. Didnt see anything about beer by the glass here as one reviewer stated. We left with a baguette, cheese, and some stuffed mini-peppers. Its right next door to Finnegans, which is the only reason I set foot in here. On RateBeer, this shop really doesnt need a listing.

Food here is outstanding! Very friendly and a great neighborhood shop. Thought the service was great and staff knowledgable. Wine selection huge, beer selection slightly smaller but I appreciate quality over quantity. I see some people don’t feel as though this place deserves a spot on rate beer because they do more wine buisness than beer, but cork-dorks ARE the first cousins to beer-geeks. I was not into wine till I was educated by the owners and I can see where the opposite would come into play. Great place!

More of a wine store than a beer store, this place nevertheless has great ambiance and top notch service. Very cozy feel inside, and the employees know their stuff. The woman I dealt with admitedly didn’t know a lot about beer, but she was able to give me a few recommendations. Small selection of beer, but what they have are unique. You can purchase beers by the 4 or 6-pack or break apart what they have in the cooler and make your own. Beers aren’t cheap, but not outrageous, either. About on par with most beer stores. A very nice feature is that they will keep track of what beers you have tried in their database.

Great little shop located in Historic Down Town Plainfield, Ill. They have recently expanded their beer list and now offer Beer, Wine and food by the plate and glass. Now its an awesome eatery/bistro that serves great beer and wine.

As the name suggests, this is primarily a wine and cheese shop. The ladies who run this store do, however, appreciate good beer. They stock about 15 or 20 micros (Victory, Unibroue, Left Hand, Two Bros., etc.) and Euros (Stiegl, HB, St. Feuillien, etc.) and have a beer tasting once a month. They also have a Beer of the Month Club that is only $9.99 per month, three bottles each of two beers. Not necessarily someplace that someone who only drinks beer should go out of their way to find, but nice if you also like wine, cheese and friendly staff while in Plainfield.

I have been here for a wine and beer tasting. Nice little wine shop as the others said. Helpful staff, but not at all beer oriented. I imagine they may improve as time goes on, and perhaps expand their collection.

basically what everybody else said its a wine and cheese store. yes there are some seasonals and a couple of others that you will not find in the area. and the staff does know there stuff but when they were looking to expand they should have expanded there beer section. and there a little pricey as well.

My wife has a subscription to the wine-of-the-month club, so I’m in this place often. It is not a beer place, but I’m not as critical as Cornfield. I’ve found beers there I’ve found nowhere else IN THE AREA. I’ve never been to Binny’s or Armanetti’s. They have a monthly beer tasting. That’s more than I can say for many places. Don’t go there looking for anything rare.

THIS IS NOT A BEER PLACE AND NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN ENTERED! Very quaint, but it’s about wine & cheese as the name clearly states. Which explains why the proprietors (nice people) know little about beer. Probably not twenty brands here, and NONE OF THEM RARE as was entered here. No crap, but nothing rare. I suspect this place was entered as an ad.
