I can see why that one went down despite the not too shabby location. A long, empty hall with the allure of a post-communist eatery and bad to mediocre beer served on sticky tables. I had the impression the manager just didn't care. Save for us there were just a few English blokes around on a Winter evening in 2017, so I got the impression the business was unsustainable, for good reasons. The food was tasty and affordable though. Still a pity to see a brewery fall.

The castle brewpub is on the main road up to the castle. The brewing kit is visible in the “pub” from the outside but this part of the building was closed each time we passed so we eventually settled for a seat in the restaurant - a long basement room with a long bar. They brew 10 beers, three or four of which are on at any one time. The beers were mediocre but the service was friendly. (Visited 12 July 2018).

Okay brewpub focusing mainly on lagers. Only house beers on tap where one of them is always seasonal. Worth a visit if you are hungry and not really after beer variety

Small restaurant, divided into a dining room and a bar (the latter being closed on my visit on an evening somewhere during the week). Simple furniture, not overly cozy but functional with a tv screen in one of the corners near the entry. Four different beers on tap, one of them rotating for seasonals, rather classic but decent. Pours of 0.3 l are available, prices are really good. Food was tasty as well, not too expensive either. Staff were quick, polite and attentive, their English was good. Good place for combining food with beer.

Just below the castle, close to the city center. Brewing equipment (used or for decoration?) is in a corner, but the "pub" in that area was closed when I visited at Lunchtime. Instead I ate in a fairly generic room with a few restaurant tables and a very long serving bar. Service was good, beers and food were tasty and cheap. They only had two beers, sadly, but one of them was a polotmavy, so I was happy.

Brewpub a short walk from center. Beer selection seems to be limited to 4 taps mostly. Decent service, English understood. Beer prices are cheap. Overall: ok brewpub.

Quite large brewpub which has seen better days. Service was OK. Selection was limited to 3 or 4 taps, I’ve managed to try only one which wasn’t in best condition. Rather cheap. Don’t feel like re-visiting.
