68 This place is one of my locals, and a good place for a drink on the weekday. Always fairly full. Decent but small tap list, with some local stuff. Food is pretty good - at least the brunch I had once. THere are cheap cans of PBR if you’re in that mood. |
78 A nice, quaint locale in the District with good food and a small, yet diverse beer selection. |
80 Really great vibe - full but not packed on a busy Saturday night. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful in interpreting the massive whisky, rye and bourbon list, including things we hadn’t seen elsewhere in the district. Locals freely chimed in their opinions too. Decent smattering of beers, mostly local stuff (now that we have local stuff, thankfully!). Great place. |
66 Went here for their first anniversary party. Really cool vibe to the place; not in a super accessible area, but probably worth a couple bucks and the few minutes it takes to figure out a bus that takes you down to Rhode Island Ave. Not a huge beer selection, but lots of fresh DC Brau (Brandon and Jeff love the place) -- they were debuting a new beer of theirs on this evening. Not awesome in terms of beer, but a really cool bar with great whiskey and good food outside of brews. |
68 Quite a nice little place, all beers in cans (yay!), something of a patio, great great fresh food, lots of great selections of local beer, plus a huge selection of whiskey’s. A good local place. Tends to get really packed in the evening, ambience of the patrons can swing between super-hipster, to more local depending on the day. |
