Near Wineworks and in comparison has a worse selection. Clean store but is warehouse-like. Prices were higher on some things but lower on others. Did have some discount prices on older stock. Less local and less imports. But carried larger product lines for others bigger craft breweries. I'd skip in favor of Wineworks but can do both for the combined selection.

Stopped here during lunch. Nice bottle selection at decent prices. Plenty of Stone, Dog Fish, Rogue, German beers.

I didn’t even realize where I was when I spied the giant yellow building that is Joe Canal’s. It feels old and almost dingy on the inside, but the selection more than makes up for it. A couple of rows of large bottles and six packs with a "build your own" section, also. A decent selection of Belgians and Euro beers but mostly American Micros. I snagged some Maine Beer Co. stuff, Founders, etc. while there. Prices are noticeably cheaper than in Philly, which was nice. I was mildly concerned about some of the IPAs, as some seemed to be a bit dusty and I’m not sure how much the stock rotates. I picked up a nice selection of porters and stouts, though. Will definitely stop again if passing through the area.

Hit this place up before trying out the High Street Grill ... Typical looking Joe Canal’s, but the beer selection here is a couple of long aisles ... sections of seasonals, belgians, british, german and a nice mikkeller/evil twin/tool danish section rounded out by a long section of US micro’s .... nothing too rare or aged .... they had a good amount of bottles packed with glassware which is always nice ...... definitely a good variety of smaller US microbrews .... the beer manager was available and very helpful with showing all the fresh IPA’s and new arrivals ..... prices were typical jersey nice and cheap .... Would definitely stop in here again if I’m in the neighborhood.

Great, great store in South Jersey. The selection is immense and they really push seasonals and a discount section. Bottles are divided into domestic, foreign, seasonal, and chilled. Lots of Stone, Southern Tier, Founders, Weyerbacher, Unibroue, Abbay Du Rocs, Nogne, the list goes on. Also has a great selection of pony kegs. Prices are rock bottom. I’ve seen Pumking here for $7 where anywhere else you can’t find it for under $10. Aside from seasonals, this store doesn’t get a lot of new rotations into their shelves, but there simply so much on the shelves that there is more than enough obscurities and old stand bys to keep you satisfied.

Been here a couple times with JRedmond and others. This is a gem in the rough of South Jersey. Extensive bottle selection.. tons of domestic and foreign brews. Discount carts, and a newly installed single 12oz bottle section which is great for sampling. Founders, DFH, Southern Tier, Cantillion, etc. Picked up a keg of Golden Monkey here... worse idea ever. haha

I stop in here about once a week for favs like Kasteel Donker, Moretti Rossa, Samichlaus, and various Dogfish Head seasonals. This is definitely MORE than a Bud Light venue, and happily, they offer quite a few (maybe 50) various beers as Singles, so you can sample before your commit to a 6-pack. It is not the most organized selection you will find, but if you are a regular you will be able to find your way to the nations, the singles, the 750s, etc. In the past six months or so they have begun to include Ratings for some of the brews, which is eye-catching and can direct you to some 90+ brews you might not otherwise try. Beer is definitely second to wine and spirits, but they give it a , long full aisle and you can walk into the cooler to find what you want chilled. Worth visiting.

An all around great liquor store with a large craft and import section that is ever expanding. I’ve been going there for years and have to say that lately they’ve been getting much better than they ever were before.

Beer selection is nice, but a disappointment compared to the Canals on 541. Don’t get me wrong, this place is great! My recommendation: drive a little further north. It’s next to the Wal-mart. You’ll be glad you did.

Canal’s has lots of rare and hard to find beers. I find myself spending at least 30-45 minutes in there, everytime I go. I love to browse their large selection of rare and import single bottles. The prices are a tad high, but isn’t finding a rare beer priceless anyway? The building itself is a little musty, like it used to be a lumber warehouse or something. Everybody is fairly friendly, and they’re always trying to help you find what you’re looking for. HIGHLY recommended for anyone looking for some good (and hard to find) beer.
