72 Visited on a Monday evening. The place was busy, but I was able to find a seat at the bar. The beer list was kind of unimpressive because it was loaded up with regular Dogfish Head offerings. They did have a few less common items available which I tried and were good. Service was very good. The server kept me with water and beer as needed. Food was actually quite nice. I had the shrimp tacos, and they did not disappoint. Overall the place was good and worth visiting if you are close by. |
62 Limited tap list but some interesting mixes / floats. Had fish tacos which were just ok. Staff was a bit vacant. |
84 Went there on a Thursday late evening. Not crowded. The bartender was nice and service decent. Beer selection is good but not exceptional. Other than beer, nothing too special |
76 One of three Dogfish Head Alehouses between VA and MD. Solid draft selection of Dogfish Head beers though usually nothing you can’t find elsewhere. Once in awhile they’ll get a special/brewpub exclusive beer. Food is standard pub fare but pretty good. Flights and growler fills available. A bit pricey especially with bottles. Free parking around the restaurant and in the larger lot by Shopper’s. |
82 Great spot, although more for the beer than the interior. Lots of great dfh options on tap. Service great and burger was really solid. Out of the way if you’re trying to get here from downtown, but if you are in the area it’s worth he visit. |
82 Came here December 1st for my birthday, only DC location to have 120 min. IPA on draft. Parking was easy, pretty busy place as the wait was 45 mins. Waiter was friendly, my 8oz of 120min was enough that night for beer (~18 taps there). Food was good. I asked if they had any to-go bottles of Old School Barleywine but they were out but they pointed out a nearby Wine & More that probably had it. Overall a good experience. |
74 Stopped in for lunch and a flight. 18 DFH taps, solid food and great service. Fun spot. |
62 If this was not s Dogfiah Head affiliation, would be just the average strip mall beer-and-burger chain joint. The beer is so good, however, that it is like a magnet for casual dinner. |
78 In a former Uno’s pizza restaurant. Large with an engineered chain restaurant ambiance. 17 dogfish head beers on draft. No size choice on the servings. Food is above average for pub grub. Worth a visit if you are in the hood. |
70 With this visit, I’ve hit every DFH location except the brewery itself. The Rehoboth Beach location is obviously by far the best. This one is in a generic suburban stripmsll, but is very close to major transportation routes. No special beers here, just the usual mainstream DFH and a seasonal. Food is OK. Prices are high. They will do growlers soon, but no date has been set. They do 7 ounce poirs of all their beers, but it doesn’t save you much cash. A 7 oz pour of Black and Blue was $8.25, fir a 10% beer. Go to the Beach if you can. |
