68 Big restaurant and bar located in the Doubletree downtown. Great view of the river. Good and friendly service. Good food. Went for breakfast so we didn’t have any beer. The tap list looked decent, mostly Montana beers. |
66 This place had a good selection compared to other bars in town, and it exceptional compared to other hotel bars. Seven local breweries were represented, as well as the apparently obligatory macro stuff. The bar itself is a circular affair in the center of the restaurant with a nice view of the river. Service was quick and efficient, food was tasty. |
68 This restaurant/bar is located in the Missoula Doubletree Inn. There is always a good selection of local beers and a couple other craft beers on tap. The bar is lively in the evenings and boasts a nice food menu. |
66 May 2007 - Only after we got stranded overnight in Missoula and returned to the Doubletree Hotel (this time on Northwest Airlines) did we venture into the "hotel restaurant" ... and were pleasantly surprised. The circular bar featured at least 10 great Montana craft brews, plus a handful of other decent regionals. The dinner menu is slightly upscale steakhouse, so we stuck to the pizza while dining in our day-old-stuck-in-the-airport t-shirts. The lunch menu was a little more laid back. The view of the river is awesome. The young bartenders were almost as beer knurdy as me ... it was all good. |
