Still mostly caters to the macro crowd, but it's open until 2:30 Am so that's convenient, and they do have a few nice beers like Unibroue Trois Pistoles and Little Brown Jug 1919. 2014 rating: A bar and a beer store - just across the line to keep in legal when Steinbach was under prohibition. There are a couple worthwhile mainstream beers here like Hoegaarden, but this mostly caters to the Lab Lite crowd. Re-rate - the selection has improved a bit. Now featuring some nice Unibroue beers.

Not a great bar scene. The standard selection of macrobrews and what counts for "premium" and imports at most small-town places and sports bars. However the restaurant side is pretty decent with good food and a nicer atmosphere. As for the beer store - the selection has improved a lot in the past few years. Starting to see a few bombers from larger Canadian craft breweries on the shelf.

The bar is nothing special, the restaurant has some decent food. Beer selection isn’t great. Very average bar. Restaurant renos are being done this summer though. Looking forward to the changes.

Well, I don’t go here often, but it’s the only actual bar in Steinbach. The selection is mostly pale lagers and the crowd is redneck, but they do have a few decent beers.
