72 Really a great little place for authentic German food. Portions are large and very tasty. The beer scene is a bit disappointing with most of the German beers your local supermarket sells (Becks, St Pauli Girl, etc) and a couple others. |
78 A good walk east from Sahara & Stratosphere. Hidden in a back corner from Pep Boys & an AutoZone. Lots of glasses and steins for sale along with other German food items. Nice selection of German imported beers! Food is amazing. Schniztel is my fave, spaetzel is perfect, and the potatoes were the best I’ve had. |
42 this place has been here forever. can be a bit slow and annoying at times. if your lookn for bavarian food this place has got it or you could go to the more popular hofbrauhaus. lots of german beers but nothing you wouldnt expect to find. (ayinger, tuscher, spaten, etc.) |
82 I spent 3 years in Munich Germany in the early 1960s and have a found memory of eating in many local, neighborhood Germany Resturants. Cafe Heidelberg. is of course, not a small local resturant but it tries to be, and it does a nice job of it. Everything about this place is charming and the food is very good, with some dishes being excellent! IMO the food (most dishes) are very close to be truly authentic. At times there can be a bit of a wait but it’s well worth it. |
