76 Medium sized place with a decent bar, pool and ping pong in the back room and usually have some good food available. Hipster crowd. Usually good music. Usually a good varying selection of beer with many different styles and always something great. Typical prices for Grand Rapids. Good place to get a beer. |
64 When my wife and I came here, they had line dancing on the dance floor while the bar patrons looked on in horror. We didn’t want any part of that, but the selection was decent and the prices were very good. Strange place but memorable. |
80 Went there on November 2013 near last call. The bartender of Graydon’s Crossing sent us here because their kitchen was close.
Food is good and we were pretty surprised by the beer menu.
We took a couple of Belgian beer and some rare US beer before we go to hotel.
We’ll be back on our next trip to Michigan. |

76 Great bar with that neighborhood feel. Mostly regulars when I was in. The bartenders were focused on talking amongst themselves and with the regulars; as a first-time visitor I was definitely a low priority, but the staff was friendly.
16 taps, with 15 real beers and 1 cider. They have BMC products in cans/bottles, but the taps are reserved for the better offerings.
My burger was quite good, and the menu looked to be fairly diverse for a bar.
I’ll return. |
78 One of my new favorite places. They really need to install air conditioning though. They have a great Monday night special for a 10" 2 topping pizza - $5! Some decent taps - they have a representation of all the popular styles plus the frat water that you would normally see (ie bud light, milller, etc..) They have a ping pong table and pool table. Their wait staff is friendly and always willing to help you have a good time. |
