Tracy’s Saloon and Eatery

A little surprised this is on Ratebeer. It is not a beer destination. my burger was OK, my wife’s reuben looked excellent and so did all of the other food I saw. A few craft options, but nothing particularly interesting Recommended for food if not for beer.

Had been awhile since I’d been in, place was remodelled and it looks really nice, while still remaining a bit of a dive bar. Pretty decent tap selection, lots of whiskey and the food is pretty good. Nice neighborhood joint.

Tracy’s is my neighborhood bar. It could be described as a classy dive bar. The service is excellent and the food is actually excellent as well; the menu is a mix of scratch pub food and a few indian style dishes. The beer selection is limited, but Tracy’s is within walking distance of the west bank beer bars, and it is a reliable location to find Surly’s special releases long after the other places are out.

Pretty much an average bar in most regards. Taplist was decent, including some Surly stuff. Supposedly get Darkness a week or so after release, which is pretty cool.
