ManVsBeer  (3535) Hebden Bridge, England | February 21, 2013| Updated August 18, 2014
An interesting conversion with a fairly striking design inside that although is comfortable, detracts from the grandeur of the former baths that occupied this building, only by paying attention to the ceiling could you probably get an idea of its former glory. The outside of the building isn’t much to look at but this is in part due to the fact that plenty of other businesses have played a part in the conversion and its not always benefited the aesthetics of the place. It is possible to sit outside in a makeshift patio area. The bar benefits from a natural light source and has two rows of ale pumps. There’s an upstairs gallery style seating area and a few other secluded corners for a bit of extra privacy. It’s close to the University too so expect students.
