Update (March 16, 2019): Revisited to find that the beer selection has certainly improved. Besides their usual tap and bottle selection, roughly 45 rotating can and bottles are available. I noticed Alefarm, Mikkeller NYC & San Diego, Uiltje, Põhjala amongst others. Old review (March 22, 2015): Place looks great, selection is decent but nothing special. Still, the friendly waiter met my challenge and got me a beer I hadn’t tasted yet. Not a bad place to stop for a brew.

A little bar on the square with the obligatory terrace and bar in one corner inside. The selection is mainly focused on Belgian beers with a few locals but a little fridge at the corner of the bar holds some more unusual and imported gems (at a higher price). Service was super helpful, the beer that The Missus wanted had run out and they were nice enough to run off to a nearby bar and bring back a glass they had on tap.

A nice bar in the middle of town. For the Netherlands a good selection, mainly bottled. Let down by poor service, both waiters were constantly ignoring me even when my glass was empty!

They used to have a decent selection, but it’s gone downhill. They don’t even have American beers anymore. Service is really slow as well.

Quite small bar, located in the centre at one of the many squares in Amersfoort. Outside is a small patio, which is probably lovely in summer. Decent selection of beers, decent service. One of many decent beerspots in Holland, but nothing to go off the beaten track for. One for the locals.

Nice place. Some good stuff on tap sometimes. Nice beers on the bottle list too.
