Wie visited this place on 16th and 17th of August 2013. An old rectangular farmerhouse with a very nice beer garden. The brewery started in 1999, brew master and owner Herr Mayr is very knowledgable and we had a nice beer conversation. This is Steyr’s only brewery. They are serving regional specialities (ham, bread,..) and are brewing two beers on site, main beer is a Märzen type style, which was quite tasty and absolutely above average. We also tasted an oatmeal lager beer directly from the tank, was also quite good. If you are visiting Steyr, you should stop here.
