50 Named after james king and the road it occupies large art deco pub that would be lauded over if it were in a city center location as it is its oddly located and rarely busy usual sam smiths offerings at cheap prices. |
60 Quiet Sam Smiths pub with a revolving door for its entrance. It’s in its own very large building facing a set of traffic lights, next door to a garden centre. A school flanks the rest of it so it seems to be in a very unusual place given there’s not many houses around here. Naturally it has a car park given the space around it and there’s some tables in the front garden area too, but it does seem way too large for its purpose. The main room is large and airy with tall ceilings and the bar is at the rear which is fairly well stocked with the Tadcaster brewers own drinks. There’s a couple of adjoining rooms including another large seating area in one of them. |
