24 No sign of any craft bottles any longer. Only macro lagers on tap. Not particularly appealing so I didn’t stay. |
68 A small narrow spacr run by an older Indian couple that are very friendly. Beers from everywhere in bottles, but not particularly crafty. Prices are OK, and food is OK. Eat elsewhere but pop in to marvel at this funny little spot. |
68 A great little place. It’s a tiny, quirky Indian restaurant - the main quirk being that it has a large range of bottled beers on offer. The service is very friendly, but reminded me of Fawlty Towers - I asked the waitress for the "beer list"; first attempt I got the "bill", second attempt I got a "Baileys", third attempt I got the manager and explained. He like his beers - and at one point there seemed to be a "robust discussion" with Sybil Fawlty in the kitchen over this. In terms of the selection, the menu lists, I guess, over fifty beers, the amanger claimed 120-140, I think. Half of the beers I requested were not in stock ("Sorry, duck’s off"). Whatever, it is a large and eclectic range, from the excellent (Brewdog) to the awful (Castlemaine XXXX). The food was very palatable, but a long way from being up market. For Singapore, the value was very good. Overall, a very pleasant place with lots of character - if you like Indian food and want a choice of many beers, this is a fun place to go. |
66 Primarily a small restaurant in Little India, with authentic Indian food and a strange array of beers that appear to come from the enthusiasm of one of the owners. Some beers are naff, others are unknown. Occasional honeys. Cool place though, if you don’t mind its authenticity. |
74 Nice quiet café in Little India with many bottled beers available. Food is also avaulable. |
