42 Pretty rough local corner pub.Small tap selection, nothing really good. Decent bottle selection. A bit curt stuff, bordering on rude. |
48 A bit scruffy, poorly lit with a versatile array of visitors. Not much on going craft beer wise, though. Service was a bit sleepy. Beers we had were mostly showing off flavors. |

92 Very central bar with a good selection of beers. some of them can only be tasted here. Nice ambience |
54 There IS emphasis in local beers as it’s obviously popular with residents. People visiting are maybe in the dark when it comes to the scope of Lux beers. There just isn’t much to boot and rarely something good hits the market, in that respect Rocas must get a pass.
Considering craft beer the selection is very much reduced to the IPA and the odd belgian trappist, not many other beer styles represented.
All in all beer is not the main attraction here but if you’re out for a bit of fun, the selection is wide enough and above average. |
62 First visited on a Thursday evening which was very busy and noisy with a rap trio and audience taking up all of the inside space. Many people had spilled out onto the pavement. Beer selection looked pretty disappointing given the reviews it’s received. Service ok considering how busy it was but there was nothing we wanted. To give it benefit of the doubt, returned on Monday early evening when it was quieter and maybe beer selection bottle wise is better than first thought, but then didn’t get served. So overall disappointed and vowed it was not a place that I’d return to for a third occasion. BUT I did. Another Thursday evening in March but this time in 2018. Much more enjoyable. It was busy/lively but not quite so crazy noisy and managed to get served too. Not much local choice still but decent selection of Belgian bottles. |
78 Nice small bar in the city center, seem to have live music often and DJ was setting up his stuff even when we visited. I also heard that it usually is very crowded place. Service was very friendly and great. Don’t remember much about the selection, but there were some ticks, so it was at least decent. Prices were ok also by Estonian standards. Overall: nice place. |
74 On Sept 14’th I visited Luxembourg with friends on a pub and beer hunt. We managed seven visits, most of them recommended here at RateBeer. Besides Liquid Café we found Rocas Café to be the only place worth visiting for the beer lover. The pub has a strong focus on micro breweries from around the world, with a list of 35 brews. In addition to them also a few less micro on tap and bottle. |
60 Nice small bar near the city centre with a small selection of Crafts. Friendly atmosphere and friendly staff. |
74 Bit more of an alternative place with everyday another theme going on. Offering live music and DJs, too.
Bit quirky. Staff is friendly and tries their best at helping with the beer. Got a rotating selection of different bottled beers recently. Nice place yet city prices. |
