Cellar bar decorated with dark wood and artwork in which boobies are a consistent theme - and not just human boobies. Small central serving bar and a haphazard mixture of restaurant and bar tables. Sadly just one beer, the Kout Svetly. Doubly sad since it's craft beer week in Bratislava, you would think beery places would up their game. The food more than made up for it - the menu is pictures, very helpful, but the portions looked small so I ordered a starter and a burger. Holy cow! Portions are huge. The app alone could have been my meal. Friendly service, fluent English spoken. And this place is ENTIRELY NON-SMOKING! I'll return for the daily (Mon-Fri) lunch special, and I already know what beer I'm going to order.

On the opposite corner to Staromestianska, Koutska is also in a basement. Quite foody and the decor is a bit quirky. (Visited 10 July 2018).

Small, old-fashioned bar/restaurant with dark wooden interior and a relaxed atmosphere, located just on the other side of the street from Staromeštianska pivotéka. Usually five taps, four of them were in use during my visit with two beers from Kout na Šumave and two by ...Krombacher?! Beers can be ordered in 0.3 l, prices are good. Food was tasty as well, maybe a bit expensive by local standards. Staff is friendly and attentive, although not very knowledgeable about the beer. Okay place for trying some good Czech Lagers, otherwise not really interesting.

Bar some way from center. Good service, English understood. Prices are fair, slection is limited to about 5 tap beers, but 2 of them are top svetly lezaks... Some food also available. Overall: ok place if you want to taste what these beers taste like..

Cellar pub just across the street from Staromeštianska pivotéka, Stumbled in there by accident because the other location closed. And i got surprised because this location served the great beers from Pivovar Kout na Šumavě. Top50 Czech Pilsner beers on tap. Really great find. Its sort of an irish pub sports bar place, good atmosphere, good service. Didnt try any food. Worth to check out!
