66 Place worth a visit to try some of there own beers in the city centre. Fairly quite on a Wednesday evening. Porter was very good |
74 Central, located in a street made up largely of largely of restaurants, very nice terrace. A bit hard to judge properly since in line with current Covid regulations, I stayed just on the terrace and like many places they changed their menu to a QR code. I am rather technologically backwards. I checked online menu, plenty of beers but noting too special and the usual suspects. I scrolled a bit through their Untappd feed to get an idea. Anyway I asked about their IPA’s and got suggestions of a Kaapse and a Jopen beer. Lots of people getting food which is burgers, stake, bitterballen etc. I ate one door over at VJFB. Overall lovely looking place, nice terrace, nothing too crazy to choose from but definitely more than enough different solid bit more mainstream craft beers. Their brewpub location is definitely the more interesting one for beer geeks. |
60 Prohibitively busy on a Friday night, so I didn't stay long. Taplist is decent, but given the busyness, I couldn't really inquire about pour sizes and what not. Beer list was decent. I feel like I should experience the place in the afternoon, off-peak, to get a better sample of the place. |
76 Visited 27.8.18. Busy bar with 2 levels, plenty of Dutch craft to choose from. Not bad. |
66 Modern bar in lively area. 16 taps of joy, with lots of classics and a few local/new dutch craft. One floor and spacious interior balcony of seating, place was quite full saturday night. Another Rotterdam bar that seems like a social hotspot. Killer taplists don’t seem to be a priority but it doesn’t seem to be a problem either. |
68 Quite a big modern bar, with a decent tap selection and some bottles that I didn't look at. At least here they have other options besides classic belgian/German beers like most Rotterdam bars, so that's a good point in my book. Didn't stay here long because we were in desperate need of good beers so took the 20 min walk to Kaapse, but I would visit again when I'm near. |
78 Not a huge selection on tap but did have some interesting bottles. Foodwise I had chicken and fries which turned out be a bowl of cheesy fries mixed with a Caesar salad, worked pretty well. The woman serving was friendly and prices were reasonable. |
72 A modern bar with an outdoor patio. It’s rather spartan inside but there’s a nice black and white photo on one wall of a boy on a fairground swing over the Maas and the service was friendly. There were at least fourteen beers on tap, with a reasonable choice.

72 Visited september 2015 with beery friends. Large, 2 storage corner pub, close to city center. Easy to find. Nice selection on tap and bottles, most beers are from known breweries, not much from the newer microes. Beers served in good condition. Lots of seatings outside. The place seemed a bit touristed, and it seemed a few of the tables were taken by people meeting up for a buisness appointment or so.. For sure worth a visit being in Rotterdam..

64 Decent place, mostly Belgian with some American and Dutch thrown in. But think of the larger local ones like Jopen and Kompaan and Kaapse. Food is fine, nice place to go, not sure it’s a must go |
