Rupp-Bräu / Brauhaus Felsenkeller

What a lovely place. Visited on 31st July 2018 at lunchtime and sat outside on their pallet chairs. Inside it's all traditional German Brewpub in design, loved it. Service was fine, the three beers were top notch and my 'Red Hot' Burger very nice. Would loved to have stayed longer.

Visited, not planned. They found a room for us and our 2 dogs without problems. We got a table in the restaurant, got great beer food and their nice beers from tap. 5 beers on tap. Located on a hill in a small village. Great atmosphere. 20-30 minutes drive from Hannover. Will visit them again, when passing by Hannover.

5 taps located up on a hill with a lovely view to a large green landscape. Fine beergarten with that lovely view. Awesome schnitzel and bartkartofln. The doppelbocke and dunkel was worldclass. All beers in good condition. Great atmosphere. 30 Km from Hannover. Will drop by again.

Nice old brewpub. The food is traditional, but nice, the beers are tasty. The atmosphere could be a bit more attractive, but as food and beer are good, this is second-rate. I especially liked their dark light-beer - a very interesting, but tasteful brew! Highly recommended place!

This place is rated to low! A classic German family-run brewpub with a nice beergarden with a fantastic view. Seemed to be popular among both locals and crowds of German bus tourists. But, do not worry. The brewery restaurant is big! We sat outside in the beergarden, enjoyed a meal and I had five beers from tap (30 cl, of course...) Pilsener, Weizen, Dunkel, Dunkles Leichtbier and Doppelbock (Heller) All in good shape. Efficient service. Expensive take away? Of course! The big bottles with metal handle and swing top are more expensive than the beer inside. I think it is more for the locals who can bring the empty bottle back. I did not bother to bring a bottle home to Norway and then throw it in the garbage. (Visited July 7th 2012)

Large brewpub with quick service and well brewed beers. Bottles to take away are extremely expensive, prices otherwise OK. Good enough for a quick stop.

A good german brewpub with a bavarian interior and a small cosy biergarten. Clear rooms, good quick service. The waiter didnt wait for you to finish one beer, before he asked if you wanted another.

A very clean typically German restaurant and bar area, lots of wood, booths and open dining area. The beutiful kettles are inside the restaurant, and the old kettles are used for decoration. 4 own beers on tap. Very friendly service. And very cheap accomodation.
