Most of the charm of this place comes from its inclusion of the original Cincinnati public airport, Lunken Field. How romantic to enter the "concourse," see ticket offices to the left and right, and 20 steps ahead, the door to the runways for departing flights. Off to the left is the Sky Galley. The restaurant, a bit common and bright for my expectations, but the bar, is just right: dark (most light from neon beer signs), somewhat cozy, and a view of the runway lights. A much larger crowd than expected - lots of energy, but not loud. The beer selection isn’t novel, but some good ones are on tap: 90 Minute IPA, Elliot Ness, Mt. Carmel Ale, plus 6-7 more taps, and 20+ bottles. A fun, authentic, retro place!

the place has more than 6 taps and more than 15 bottles, as opposed to what the current description says as of 8-11-11. There are about 11-13 taps and close to 30 bottles. The selection is not extensive, but they carry a variety of styles (as far as drafts go). Go for the atmosphere of eating in a small airport where kids and old fogies can admire small air crafts taking off and landing. The food was standard for an American restaurant, but they have a braunschweiger sandwich. Eat outside on a nice warm and sunny day!

I came here with SurlySober, the future Mrs. SurlySober, his future sister-in-law, and my toddler son. And this place had something for everyone. The food was good, the scenery was interesting (my son’s captivated by everything involving airplanes) and they had a decent beer or two. This isn’t beer nirvana by any measure, but DFH 60 Minute on tap and some other decent beers on the bottle list were enough to satisfy. A nice place with an interesting history, and something to offer everyone. I sometimes feel bad when I see beer geeks dragging their families to places and situations in which they are obviously not interested, and I try not to be that guy. But I felt good about this place - I felt like it was a happy middle ground for kids and adults who are both interested in and ambivalent to beer.

Nice place to go an hangout. It is located in what was once the Cincinnati Airport. It is now Lunken(probably the name then too) and it is the home of a lot corporate jets and privately owned aviation crafts. They have six taps with probably two or three dedicated to regional micros. Food is decent , but not exceptional. I like ambiance as a a private pilot myself a place I like to go and hang out.

Sky Galley has been in the Lunken Airport terminal for years. Historic building with and average local bar and restuarant feel. Server was very freindly and offered samples of brews. 7 taps with Great Lakes, Flying Dog and one Watson Bros brew. Food has always been pasta and sandwichs. Positively surprised by selection, service and food.
