62 Nestled in a little run of shops on the west side of Tahoe, this is a nice respite. You have to line up at the counter to order. We had a couple beers and an appetizer, all quite nice but nothing super extraordinary. The place definitely benefits from location! Took a bottle for later and it was very good, too. Brewery #750. |
80 During our drive around the Lake, we were walking thru town when we came upon this place and we had to stop in and try a sampler tray. I think it was about $16 for the 8 beer samples. Fast service from a nice and knowledgeable bartender. We already had lunch before stopping here, so we did not try the food. Really nice place. |
70 i prefer the ambiance and the tap list of the truckee location to this one...but they have food, and a great location across from commons beach in tahoe city. service is hit or miss. |
90 We’ve been here at least 4X and have always had a great experience. The inside has a nice modern Tahoe feel with river rock & area artwork. Nice and bright dining area, and several large tables for groups. The food is really good with typical burgers, sandwiches, fish & chips, but also a few more upscale dishes. The beer is wonderful. We’ve had the sampler which I highly recommended on your first visit. The IPA’s are awesome- a single Hop Song and a double Hop Dragon are well balanced and allow the hops to shine without too much bitterness.. A "must do" when in the North Shore area. |
80 Porter is to die for. We happened into this place while trying to find espresso. Found the best Porter I have ever tasted instead! Drove over an hour the next day to go back and get a growler of Porter! YUM! |
76 Stopped in here after a day of skiing. It’s perfectly located in Tahoe City. They had a eight taps of their own brew and great service. We tried four of them, all decent with the porter being the star. |
82 Great looking brewpub that we stopped in at one afternoon during a Tahoe vacation. 7 taps with a nice variety. We had the Hop Song IPA and sampled the Barley Wine. Solid brews. Good size marble bar and plenty of tables and booths. Nice menu but we did not eat. Cool trophy fish on the wall and big screen televisions showing skiing videos. Friendly service. Enjoyed.
