76 Solid beer selection - nothing amazing while I was there but it was a good sampling of "very good" choices from some of northern California's top brewers (Moonraker, Alvarado, Fieldwork) and a few more from the west coast (Modern Times).
Bottle list was more of the same.
Around 20 taps, around 20 bottles (available for there or to go).
Place itself is what you'd think of as an yuppie wine bar with good craft beer.
Basically good place but would not go out of your way to go here. |

84 Nice professional beer place. Little overpriced food, but nice beer choice. |
80 I do love coming here for their special events, or just when I went to have a nice drink and get away from the Downtown scene. The seating area is really nice and the bartenders are extremely friendly. They have a huge booklet of bottled beer and a small draft selection. I’ll be honest and say that the bottled beer is not worth the prices when you can find a lot of it and other local bottle shops. The draft prices are decent, about average for other bars with the same beers. Overall I love the emphasis on local beer. Not too shabby |
86 This establishment strikes a great balance between your average bar and pure beer geekery. Great ambiance, arrangement. Selection does not disappoint - not only do they have quality Euro brews and the locals but RARE or one-off local beers in addition. bottle selection are of similar quality to the taps and service. |
82 Pretty nice place on the Alameda. Not crowded on a Friday afternoon, plenty of outdoor seating. A dozen interesting taps, including Pliny and Black Butte XXIV when I was there. Fair to middlin bottle list, with prices that range from pretty good to "whoah" |
