76 Parking is a challenge, next to the university. Food was good, selection of beers were just ok. Worth a stop. |
60 SATCO is a Vanderbilt staple. Across the street from campus - it is packed during lunch time and during the entire academic year. Quick, tasty food. Expensive and limited beer selection. But I like the atmosphere and the deck on a nice day. |
44 Come to SATCO for the amazing soft tacos and not their lackluster beer list. It’s mainly a BMC emporium with a yuengling and Corona thrown in. |
46 Go for the tacos, chug a Corona or three, and head elswhere for real beer. |
70 Okay, I know this isn’t a beer nerd destination, per se. But on the other hand, buckets of beer with SATCO fajitas and chips & queso is one of the most divine experiences imaginable. This is the sort of thing beer was invented for, and if SATCO isn’t a beer destination, I don’t know what is. And to be fair, they’re not just Bud-Miller-Coors. They also offer the local dark ale Yazoo Dos Perros which is perfect in this setting, as well as independents like Shiner Bock and Yeungling. |
42 Why the hell was this place added. As a soft taco spot across the street from Vanderbilt’s library it’s an institution. As a beer spot it’s a BMC emporium most interested in selling beer by the bucket. I always drink coke there. |
