86 I really can’t say enough good things about Perry’s. I don’t shop anywhere else and have gotten to know the owners a little. It’s not at all uncommon to see patrons just hanging out in there tasting wines or whatever beverage they prefer. The owners are generous and will often open a bottle of whatever so you can try it out. As a frequent shopper there i get a friendly discount which i started receiving without ever asking for it. Get to know these folks and they’ll probably take care of you too. Great place!

70 Nice store located right on Central Expressway. A pretty good selection of beer and sake. Some of the staff appears to be very knowledgeable, while others don’t really know too much about beer. I don’t go here often, but it is a nice store to visit if you are traveling on Central. |
60 Small store located in a stip center off of Central. Varied selection (some old and some new) that was about average for the Dallas area. Prices higher than most locations as well. Dusty bottles on the open shelves (old stock vs poor housekeeping?). I would not call this store "exceptional". Average at best. |
74 stopped by here to get some SATB. selection is not great but they do have a few gems. the owners are as nice as they can be. even chatted with him for a little bit. i will go back sometime if i am ever in the area. |
78 Excellent service. The owner is a really nice guy, will try and get any beer his distributors might have if you ask. Not a great selection, but some really nice stuff nonetheless. |
58 decent little store with some hard to find or odd singles, SA TB, 120, etc as well as a bunch of Ridgeway Elf stuff, also some good bombers and 750’s usually |
72 Went last night to meet BMan and stopped in and bought a Triple Bock. Not a bad store but I didn’t think to ask if they broke up singles. |
86 As ilovedarkbeer mentioned, I’ve been going there for a couple of months. I originally went here because the C.R. Goodman Rep. informed me that they had DFH120 instock. They got a few other rare stuff, and a lot of Macros. It is a liquor store before a beerstore and they have a GREAT wine selection and a very very nice whiskey selection. Finding Sam Adams triple bock was a bit interesting. The guy who owns it works there quite often, and is pretty knowledge, and drinks beer himself. Is willing to try to get anything you want.
These guys are awesome and generous. Although it is mainly a quality wine store (and has a darn good liquor selection as well), the manager strives hard to please his customers. He knows the distributors well, and is willing to try to get anything you can ask for (weather it be a case of La Folie or the last 6 pack of DR6 in Dallas). Get to know them well enough and they will open and share bottles with you. Truely a fun place to buy quality beer, wine and liquor in Dallas. Only downside is that Tran still doesn’t like sake, so there is only a limited supply of it in the store... |
68 Yeah, Perry’s is a pretty cool place...not the best selection but he will get anything you ask him for... |
74 Small little store right off of 75. The guy carries a few good belgian and micro brews. Not a bad selection but there were even a few really rare beers. Bman found this place and they had a couple of Sam Adam’s Triple Bock 95’ in stock, as well as DFH 120s. The guy even says if you bring him a list he will try to get anything. Not bad. |
