8 Closed as of March 4, 2018. There are no longer any Gordon Biersch locations in North Texas. |
86 10 Beers on tap!!! All brewed on site!!! Both things I never thought Gordon Biersch was about. Everything from German Lagers to Belgian Dubbels, to IPAs, and they’re tapping a Belgian IPA next week...I’m definitely coming back!! |
84 Stopped by the pub last night and was surprised to find Belgian styled ales on tap since they focus on German beers...
A Belgian IPA and a Golden ale. Both very nice brews. They will also be pouring a Biere de guarde soon.
Chatted with Eric the brewmaster who was out talking to customers.
I also enjoyed the SommerBrau which is a Kolsch.

This is a large Gordon Biersch in a large mall and next to a large parking lot. I guess everything really is bigger in Texas. It was here that I learned that all Gordon Biersch locations actually do brew on site (they just have to brew the same recipes) and that they get 1-2 taps to play with. What that translates to is each location having a couple of unique beers. This one had an IPA that wasn’t very good. At GABF this year (2013) there was a table for Gordon Biersch and they had half a dozen different beers, all specials done by the brewpubs and they mentioned which one each beer came from. I tried a taste of the IPA and had a glass of the Winter Bock (probably my favorite beer of theirs). |
70 Stopped in for lunch and they had around 6 beers on tap usual GB offerings food is very good however if a little expensive service was attentive good bar with several flat screens |
78 Had only been open about a week when I stopped in last month when in town on business. Decent beer selection and menu had a wide variety of offering. Great staff, very helpfull and friendly. Worth checking out - good beers. |
