Giant Eagle - Dublin

(Visited 07/2010): This Giant Eagle is located on Sawmill and Bethel. There is a large parking lot. The beer is located toward the center of the store and much of it is in coolers. In keeping with what seems to be a trend at many of the chain grocers these days, there is pretty much an entire aisle for beer, much of it craft beer. As for what is available, brewers like Rogue, Southern Tier, Sierra Nevada, Thirsty Dog, Great Lakes, BBC, Buckeye, Stone, DFH and many others are represented domestically. There are several imports from Canada, Germany and the UK as well, plus a couple Belgians. Service is standard for a grocery store, in other words don’t expect any beer experts. The staff is friendly though. Overall this is a decent stop for the immediate vicinity. Kenny Road Market of course has a better mix of craft beers but the selection is pretty good for a craft beer lover.
