For being, essentially, a grocery store, this Fred Meyer does a pretty good job of stocking some interesting beer. Nothing particularly rare, but some decent finds nonetheless. I wouldn’t exactly call this a "beer destination", but if you need to pick up some craft beer and you’re close, this place will do the trick (though you’re better off heading a couple miles up the road to Special Brews). Decent selection of mixed packs, though, which is helpful.

Despite this low score, for a grocer this FM does a very good job bringing in good west coast selections. FMs in this area are interesting in what each will bring in - I routinely make stops here and the Bothell store and the selection in Lynnwood is head and shoulders above the Bothell.

Why oh why can’t this Fred Meyer be right down the street from me. Their selection is awesome, and their prices are very reasonable. Forget Whole Foods, this is the place to go. Whoever is their beer manager does a top notch job, and should be applauded. Their prices are excellent, and are at least a buck cheaper per six than Whole Foods. They have at least a full aisle and a half of specialty beers, and also seem to get a good selection of seasonals. Also they usually have a good selection of beers on clearance because they carry so many.
