70 I can’t believe I haven’t rated this yet. This is now the 2nd closest good beer store to my house. Location is inside a busy strip mall a little West of Metcalf on 91st Street, in between a Whole Foods and a Cinzetti’s. Parking can be a bit difficult to navigate due to all the shopping center traffic. Very nice selection and pricing for this part of town. They will typically have most KS releases, even fairly rare ones. Staff are pleasant and courteous. Nice selection of single bottles and sixers, mix-a-six selection is a tad small. I try to stop in here once or twice a month as they typically have two or three good beers that the 95th & Antioch location does not. Worth a stop, if you are in the area. |
84 While not big enough to have a huge selection, this place makes up for it with its knowledgeable and friendly staff. |
92 Its a great place to wonder around and talk with other beer drinkers. They were very helpful and willing to order if they were out of somethings. |
52 Decent little place hidden in a strip mall. There are other places with better selections though. If its beer your looking for the Whole Foods is a little pricier but has a better selection. |
70 Smallish liquor store tucked into a strip mall. Right by a very busy Whole Foods. The beer section is somewhat scattered in this store, a bit in wire racks, some in the coolers, some along the back wall. The selection was about 70-80% of Lukas or Gomer’s, though the help was friendly when I visited. They have gotten a few of the recent small releases (eg, Ommegeddon) so worth checking out or calling. Check out the mix a six section, they often throw some very nice beers in there from broken six packs. |
