68 Stopped by on a bright, sunny, Sunday afternoon.
The entire front of the tasting area is roll-up doors, so it was essentially open space.
Our dogs had to stay within the "outdoor" realm, but that’s OK.
We had a couple beers, ranging from OK to pretty good, nothing that took our breath away. They’re reaching for complexity and an upscale feel, but I’m not sure. The staff bordered on the brusque. We’ll go back if we’re in the area.

78 Another new place springs up in Norfolk. Its getting kind of crazy. This place is pretty close to the Colley ave restaurant area. Street parking out front, as well as an adjacent strip mall that they warn you not to park in, but come on. Rollup doors, warehousey looking space with lots of metal and wood. Large space inside, plenty of tables, Brewing equipment on full display, area with T-shirts and other branded shit for sale. Bartender friendly and knowledgeable. Flights of four available, Virginia prices. Beers quite good on average, with an interesting variety of styles available. Nice addition. |
